I would hate to have to keep such a secret, and it was such a mind fuck on him, too. I actually think that if he was the only one at stake, he probably would have told someone at some point. However, he worried his parents, their friends, and the doctors would be jailed, so he kept it as much for their sake as his. It's one of the few things in the characters' backgrounds in DS9 that truly infuriated me, the thought of this little boy having that done to him and then having to figure out how to put himself back together again and move on as though nothing had changed. Gah. That and Tain throwing Garak repeatedly in a closet make me want to beat both respective sets of parents about the head with a skillet.

Cuddling Julian and Garak wouldn't be bad, either. ;) I'm glad you're enjoying. Thanks for letting me know!
