"Dawg" possibly, but "foo'" and "yo" not so much. However, it's rare to see a realistic depiction of a Southern accent either in print or film/tv shows. In the films and shows, they'd have you believe every Southerner talks like they're from South Carolina, when it couldn't be further from the truth. True Blood is a huge offender in this respect. I'm not sure what they're trying to go for with that Toad, though.
