Wow, thank you very much! This story has become one of my favorite obsessions to work on. It's gratifying to know that it's entertaining others at the same time that it's entertaining me.

I'm sad to see them apart, too. I actually think that Julian's instincts and Garak's more rational analysis, however, were correct. They couldn't continue in that particular destructive pattern without winding up loathing each other. Maybe this time apart will do them some good? :-D
